We are geared up and excited as we start our 21st year of AAU basketball. The first twenty years have been GREAT, but the best is yet to come!!!.
Before we start the new season, we would like to congratulate and thank
all of the Richmond Metro teams for the wonderful season of AAU basketbal we had this past season.We encourage and appreciate participation and involvement from all parents. We realize that without them, this program cannot survive.
We would like to thank all who have supported our club because we know that without your support we could not have experienced the sucess that we have. We look forward to the games, travel and the renewal of friendships.
2009 has been a Great year of basketball. Our 9U team will be attending Div II AAU nationals in Lake Buena Vista(Orlando)Fl. Our 10U team will be attending Division III nationals in Hampton. Our 11U team will be attending Div I nationals in Cocoa Beach Fl. Our 12U team will be attending Div I Nationals in Hampton Va. Our 13U won the state tournament and qualified to attend Div I nationals in Memphis Tn. Our 14U team will be attending Div I nationals in Lake Buena Vista Fl. Our 15U team will be attending Div I nationals in Clarksville Tn. Our 16U team will be attending Div I nationals in Lake Buena Vista Fl. Our 17U team will be attending Div II nationals in Lake Buena Vista Fla.

Our 11U team qualified to compete in Div II Nationals in Cocoa Beach Fl. while our 12U team qualified and competed in Div I Nationals in Virginia Beach Va.Our 13U team qualified and competed in Div I Nationals in Memphis Tn. Our 14U team competed in Div I Nationals in Orlando Fl while our 15U team qualified and competed in Div I Nationals in Cincinatti Oh.
Our 16U team qualified to compete in Div II Nationals in Little Rock Ark but decided to try USBA nationals in Myrtle Beach SC. Our 17U team competed in Div I Nationals in Orlando Fl

Our 10U team qualified and attended Div II Nationals in Cocoa Beach Fl. while our 11U team qualified and competed in Div I Nationals in Cocoa Beach Fl. Our 12U team qualified and competed in Div I Nationals in Virginia Beach Va.while our 13U team qualified and competed in Div I Nationals in Memphis Tn. Our 14U Gold team qualified and competed in Div I Nationals in Orlando Fl while the 14U Silver team competed in USBA Nationals in Myrtle Beach Sc. One 15U team qualified in Super Regionals to attend Div II 15U Nationals in Little Rock Ar. while the other competed in USBA Nationals in Myrtle Beach SC.
Both 16U teams qualified to attend AAU Nationals this year. Our 16U Gold team qualified and competed in Div I Nationals in Clarkesville Tn. Our 16U Silver team qualified in states to attend Div II Nationals in Little Rock Ar.
Both 17U teams qualified and competed in 17U Nationals in Orlando Fl. Our 17U Gold team competed in Div I Nationals in Orlando Fl. and our 17U Silver team competed in Div II Nationals in Orlando Fl.
This has been a Fun and Exciting Season Of AAU Basketball.
As we look back on the 2006 season, Congratulations are Definitely in order!!!!. We played OUTSTANDING Basketball.
Our 9 & under team competed at 9U NATIONALS in ORLANDO FL. They had a Wonderful time, gained a lot of experience and agreed they must participate again at Nationals next AAU season.
OUR 10U TEAM WON THE 2006 DIVISION II STATE CHAMPIONSHIP and EARNED A BERTH AT 10U NATIONALS IN COCOA BEACH FLA. They qualified from AAU regionals to States and WON IT ALL !!!!!!
They competed at Nationals and placed 3rd in the National Championship round!!!!!. This gives them an automatic bid to 11U Nationals next AAU season.
They are very excited and ready to improve even more so maybe just maybe they can come in 1st place at Nationals next season!!

They competed at Nationals had a Wonderful time,played some close games, gained some very valuable experience and are geared up to go again next AAU season. GREAT JOB!!!!!!
OUR 12U TEAM QUALIFIED IN THE 2006 DIVISION II STATE CHAMPIONSHIP WHICH EARNED THEM A BERTH TO DIVISION II NATIONALS IN LEXINGTON KY.
They too are geared up to go next AAU season.
OUR 13U TEAM QUALIFIED IN THE 2006 STATES EARNING THEM A BERTH AT DIV I NATIONALS IN MEMPHIS TN. THEY ALSO WON THE 13U USBA STATES EARNING THEM A BID TO USBA NATIONALS IN MYRTLE BEACH.
They decided to attend the USBA Nationals and WON the 13U division USBA National Championship!!!. They are also excited about the upcoming AAU season and will decide again which National to attend.OUTSTANDING JOB!!!!
OUR 14U TEAM QUALIFIED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE USAAA NATIONALS IN INDIANA IN JULY.

They also competed in the Sonny Hill Tournament in Philadelphia playing some outstanding ball before losing to the Playaz of New Jersey. Congratulations to Richmond Metro players Justin Harper of Meadowbrook and and Ed Davis of Benedictine for making the All-Tournament team. Way to Go!!
Our 2004 12U team placed 2nd in the DIV II states and competed in the DIV II Nationals in Kentucky.
They also finished in the top 10 which guaranteed them an automatic bid to U13 Nationals in 2005.
Our 2004 13U team and 15U team both competed in the DIV I states and qualified to compete in DIV I Nationals.
The 13U team competed in Memphis Tennesee while the 15U team competed in Clarksville Tennesee.

We look Back on 2002-2003 and Congratulate ALL of our Teams. We Played OUTSTANDING BALL GAMES. We competed in both AAU and YBOA tournaments. Teams qualified in both to go to NATIONALS.
Our teams went to AAU DIV I Nationals in Kingsport Tennesee, AAU DIV II Nationals in New Orleans and YBOA Nationals in Florida.
