Richmond Metro Alumni-Justin Harper(UR) was selected by the Orlando Magic AS the 32nd pick in the 2011 NBA Draft . Congratulations Justin.We are so very very happy for you. It is a Wonderful thing to see your hard work and dedication pay off.

Welcome to the official web site of Richmond Metro Gold Basketball Club. We are geared up and excited as we start our 24th year of AAU basketball.

We thank all of the teams, parents and supporters for all the hard work and commitment they’ve given us. We realize that without them, this program cannot survive.

We are committed to teaching fundamental basketball skills, developing positive life skills and competing at the highest level... Come join us.

2011 was a Great year of AAU basketball.

Our 8U /2nd grade team played outstanding basketball. They  played in several tournaments and either won or placed in each.

Our 10U team qualified and attended Division II nationals in Cincinnati, OH. What a great experience. They won some games and lost some but were very competitive in them all.

Our 11U team won the Div II state tournament and played well at  AAU Nationals.

This year we had (2) 12U teams. We combined both teams  to attend  AAU nationals in Hampton VA.

Our 14U team qualified for Div I nationals inLakeBuena VistaFl. They also qualified for 15U D2 Nationals. They played well at Nationals winning some games and losing some as well.They played in serveral exposure tournaments and competed well.

Our 16U team attended Div II nationals in  Lake Buena Vista Fl.

They won some games and lost some but got some great college coaches exposure.

Our 17U team competed in Div I nationals inLakeBuena VistaFl. They received some very good looks from college coaches. They also played in several other exposure tournaments and competed well.

We are very proud of all of the teams.
